Description:
We are seeking a full-time Newborn Pediatric Hospitalist (MD/DO) to join a well-established pediatric hospitalist team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to practice high-quality newborn hospital medicine in a collaborative, well-supported environment.
The provider will be responsible for performing newborn nursery examinations.
The provider will perform circumcisions as part of their duties.
Participation in pediatric resident and medical student education is expected.
Collaboration with dedicated newborn nursing staff trained in transitional, newborn, and couplet care is essential.
The provider will work alongside pediatric intensivists, hospitalists, and neonatologists.
Comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support, including pediatric surgery, will be available.
This position does not require delivery attendance.
Relocation may be required, and residency within the immediate local area is necessary.
