Description:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Medical-Surgical Unit.
The RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and comfort.
Perform ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and monitor patient responses.
Assist with diagnostic tests, post-operative recovery, and surgical site care.
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate care.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in EMRs.
Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
Support orientation and mentorship of new staff or students as needed.
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse License.
BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred).
At least 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical.
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple patients in a high-acuity environment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
