Description:
Registered Nurses in this role will work within the emergency department.
They will care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
The average volume of patients is approximately 60 per day.
The unit consists of 14 rooms and 17 beds.
The staffing ratio for nurses is 1:4 during shifts.
The RN will be expected to float within the facility as needed.
No on-call requirements exist for this position.
Travelers will be expected to work major holidays, as specified.
Compliance with onboarding requirements is mandatory to ensure timely start.
Healthcare workers in this role must be adaptable and able to manage high-stress scenarios.
They will employ skills such as triage, medication administration, and emergency protocols.
Experience in managing symptoms related to various emergency conditions is essential.
