RN - ICU
Shift: 12 Hours Day
Description:
The ICU Nurse will provide critical care to patients with severe, life-threatening conditions.
As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the ICU Nurse will assess, plan, and implement patient care, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patients in critical condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
Provide life-saving interventions and care, including intubation, ventilation, and emergency resuscitation.
Collaborate with doctors, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
Assist in complex procedures, including intubation, catheterization, and the use of life-support equipment.
Perform regular patient assessments and document findings in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Educate patients and families about critical illness, treatment plans, and recovery processes.
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed.
Maintain a sterile and safe environment, following hospital infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
ICU nursing experience preferred (minimum of [X] years).
Current BLS, ACLS, and [any other required certifications].
Strong knowledge of critical care procedures and equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
