Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care
Shift: Day - 8x5 - 09AM
About the Role:
In this flexible, fully remote role, you will conduct virtual consultations to determine patients' medical eligibility for services and prescribe treatments where clinically appropriate. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct synchronous virtual consultations with patients.
Review patient health history, symptoms, and relevant documentation prior to appointments.
Assess whether patients have a medically supported need for services and/or devices, such as custom foot orthotics and bracing.
Issue prescriptions to eligible patients in accordance with Ontario scope of practice guidelines.
Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation for each patient encounter.
Communicate assessment outcomes clearly with clinic staff.
Adhere to all applicable privacy legislation, including PHIPA.
Qualifications:
Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Valid NP Extended Class (EC) designation
Experience in musculoskeletal care, primary care, or a related clinical area is considered an asset
Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
