- Previous charge experience
- Patient ratio experience of 1:2
- Familiarity with Allscripts charting system
Description:
Start date within the next 3-5 weeks.
May consider 36 hours/week.
Facility births per month are less than 100.
Priority given to candidates with experience in Labor and Delivery.
Demonstrated skills in administration of blood products and amnioinfusion are necessary.
Experience with antepartum care and anticoagulation therapy is required.
Knowledge of postpartum hemorrhage management is essential.
Candidates must be skilled in fetal monitoring and neonatal care.
Ability to provide discharge teaching to parents is important.
Familiarity with multiple birth management is a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in pain assessment and management.
Knowledge of non-stress tests and magnesium sulfate therapy is preferred.
Experience in assisting with cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries is required.
Candidates must understand both external and internal fetal monitoring techniques.
Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams and manage IVs is a must.
Understanding of maternal and newborn safety protocols is essential.
Candidate must comply with all facility policies regarding drug screenings.
Only medical or religious exemptions for flu vaccination will be considered.
All candidates must be available to complete necessary lab items promptly after acceptance.
Preference will be given to those with travel experience.
This position involves teamwork with physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy personnel.
