Description: General Description: Surgical time is scheduled in the morning. Office appointments are scheduled in the afternoon. Candidate will be responsible for rounding and oversight of post-operative patients in the ICU. Approximately 2-5 patients will be admitted at one time. The physician will take calls from the Cath Lab, inpatient, and emergency room for urgent CABG/AVR procedures if needed. Cardiologist may call from the Cath Lab requesting film reviews. Coverage is required from October 8 to October 12. Only providers who can cover all the dates should apply. No partial coverage is accepted. Emergency coverage for procedures is required. Inpatient rounding is necessary as needed. Inpatient/ER call is required. Office call is for inpatient only. The trauma level is III. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Credentialing time is expected to take 30-60 days. No interview is required. Multiple providers will be accepted.
