Description:
Looking for coverage once per month.
The coverage consists of three days of 24-hour call.
Start time is 7 AM on a Friday and end time is Monday morning at 7 AM.
The need for coverage may increase later on.
If the position does not offer an all-in rate, at least four hours should be included as gratis.
Patient encounters per shift range from 0 to 4.
Facility is a Level 3 trauma center.
Average number of deliveries per year is to be determined.
Required skills include decision-making for C-section and managing complicated deliveries.
Preferred skills include performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and office/minor gynecology procedures such as IUD insertions and cryosurgery.
Experience with open and laparoscopic surgical gynecology is required.
Experience with repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations is preferred.
