Description:
Seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
Qualified candidates must have 2-3 years of emergency medicine experience.
Candidates should be eligible for or hold an unrestricted medical license free of restrictions, probationary terms, or conditions.
No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension in any jurisdiction is acceptable.
Candidates must have current or be willing to obtain unrestricted DEA registration.
The emergency department includes 20 bays, 12 fast track bays, and 3 high security rooms.
The expected patient volume is 1.8-2.0 patients per hour.
There is a fast track area used for triage during specific hours.
Shifts are available from early morning to late night.
The staffing model includes 2-4 emergency medicine providers on site at a time.
Support staff includes normal emergency room support personnel.
The emergency department has an admission rate of 12-16%.
This is an ongoing position with flexible start dates based on candidate availability.
Candidates must expect a one-day orientation and may include shadowing opportunities.
