Certifications: ARRT and current BLS required
Must-Have:
Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat, and twist for up to 12 hours during shifts.
Occasional lifting of 50 pounds or more of equipment.
Capability to push a wheelchair with patient and equipment exceeding 150 pounds.
Ability to lift patients with assistance weighing 125 pounds or more.
Proficiency in responding quickly in emergency situations and handling stress efficiently.
Keen sense of hearing and visual acuity to respond to critical patient situations.
Flexibility to work regular shifts and provide on-call coverage after hours, holidays, and weekends.
Description:
The Registered Radiologic Technologist is responsible and accountable for providing radiologic services to all patients.
This role requires providing appropriate levels of care in diverse settings served by the Cath Lab.
The position involves operating radiologic equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety during procedures.
Technologists will be required to monitor patients and respond to emergencies effectively.
They must be familiar with various procedures and equipment relevant to cardiac and interventional radiology.
The role includes participating in patient care activities and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Technologists must possess strong critical thinking skills and maintain composure under stress.
This position demands flexibility in working hours and being available for call duties when required.
