Description:
Multidisciplinary outpatient therapy department providing services in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
Primarily treating adult patients with diagnoses of orthopedics, orthopedic surgical issues, pain management, neurology, or sports medicine.
Physical therapy evaluations are 60 minutes with 30-minute treatment sessions.
Flexibility is appropriate based on patient needs.
All therapy sessions are conducted in a one-on-one setting with the therapist, with no double booking or technician involvement.
Productivity expectations are set at 80% patient care time during each shift.
The therapy department is supportive and welcoming, ranging from new graduates to seasoned therapists.
Therapists perform initial assessments and develop plans of care for each patient following physician orders, in accordance with departmental policies and standards of care.
