Description:
We are seeking a provider for a locum tenens position in anesthesiology.
Coverage dates are from December 28, 2026, to January 3, 2027.
Shifts include Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
On-call shifts are required from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM on select days.
The schedule includes 24-hour on-call coverage on January 1, 2, and 3.
Coverage includes weekday night call and weekday clinical work shifts.
Weekend 24-hour call coverage is also needed.
The facility operates at a trauma level of 3.
The following types of surgery will be performed:
- Cardiac
- Complete Orthopedic
- Complex Vascular
- Head and Spine
- Neuro
- OB
- Pediatric
- Regional
- Thoracic
Preferred specialty skills include:
- General Anesthesia
- Adult and Pediatric Anesthesia
- Neonatal Anesthesia
- Trauma Anesthesia
- Spinal and Epidural Anesthesia
- Regional Anesthesia for surgery
- Obestetrical cases
- Neurosurgical cases
- Complex orthopedic cases
Additional preferred skills include:
- Pain management techniques
- Post-operative epidural management
- Evaluation of acute volume and blood pressure issues
- Central and arterial line placement
- Use of x-ray guidance in the performance of blocks
- CRNA supervision
