Transesophageal Echo (TEE): Preferred
Nuclear Cardiology (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.): Preferred
STEMI: Preferred
Invasive cardiology - diagnostic only: Preferred
PA catheter placement: Preferred
Intra Aortic Balloon pump (IABP) placement: Preferred
Cardiac catheterization: Preferred
Heart biopsy: Preferred
Invasive cardiology - Interventional: Preferred
Angioplasty - PTCA: Preferred
Intracoronary stent placement: Preferred
Atherectomy: Preferred
Electrophysiology: Preferred
Cardiac ablation: Preferred
Permanent pacemaker placement: Preferred
Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (AICD/ICD): Preferred

Description: We are seeking a General Cardiologist for inpatient hospitalist assistance. Two locums are needed to work in a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, with day shifts only. The positions will commence as soon as credentialed. While on call, there will be approximately 20 plus calls. This role entails managing around 30-40 patient encounters per shift. Credentialing is expected to take around 60 days. Candidates must hold the required certifications and board certification. Ideal candidates will possess a comprehensive skill set in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings.
