License: Required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, CRT or RRT

Must-Have: 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred; prior use of electronic medical records preferred

Description: Responsible for patient assessments, care plans, implementation, evaluation, and revision of therapy plans as needed. Performs diagnostic testing including ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, cardiac studies, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry. Transports patients within the facility or between facilities. Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours as per department policy. May require working flexible hours before and after standard shifts. Must be available for additional shifts as needed. Capable of responding to changes in patient care requirements.
