Description:
Position requires working in an emergency department setting.
Shifts are 3x12-hour rotations, with days from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM and nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Patient ratios are 1:4 during the day, 1:5 at night, and 1:5 on weekends.
Weekend work is required for 1-2 out of every 3 weeks, which may vary.
Special procedures include moderate sedation, IV starts, cardioversion, and managing sepsis protocols.
Clinicians may need to handle mental health patients and assist with trauma teams, codes, and strokes as needed.
Available equipment includes Bipap, telemetry monitors, IV pumps, and fluid warmers.
Daily census ranges from 40-55 patients with approximately 40 visits per day.
Interdisciplinary support is available from various services, including physical therapy and pharmacy.
Candidates must demonstrate floating capability within the facility as needed.
Must adhere to patient care standards across diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Compliance with local regulations and background checks is mandatory before start date.
