Experience and comfort with both mother and baby care.
Competence in labor, postpartum, and nursery care.
Ability to work Every Other Weekend.
Call requirements must be met.
Description:
The Family Birth Center has a Level II nursery.
Labor and postpartum care is provided in the same room.
Experience with labor, postpartum, and nursery care is important.
Candidates must have experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
All RNs are cross-trained for Labor and Delivery, Couple Care, and Newborn Nursery.
Level II Nursery and circulating of C-Sections are part of the responsibilities.
Total of 10 bed LDRP with one Operating Suite.
Deliveries per month range from 50 to 65.
Scrubs are provided and will be OR green.
Charting system utilized is MEDITECH.
