Experience with starting and maintaining IVs
Knowledge of safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials
Description:
An experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for a travel assignment in an outpatient oncology clinic.
This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with a low daily patient volume.
The opportunity to work in a specialized oncology environment performing PET imaging is available.
The schedule consists of Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Approximately 12 patients are seen per day, with a focus on adult and geriatric patients.
The primary procedure performed is PET scans.
Candidates should have experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment.
Preferred qualifications include experience with PET/CT and previous charge technologist experience.
Experience in a hospital setting is also preferred but not required.
Up to two pre-approved time-off requests may be permitted during the contract period.
