Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP

Must-Have:

Epic charting experience required
Experience with pediatric patient population, including autism, developmental delays, language disorders, and birth defects.

Description: Schedule is flexible. Options include 4x10s: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 07:30 - 18:00. Friday from 07:30 - 17:00. Alternate option of 5x8s: 3 days from 09:30 - 18:00. 2 days from 07:30 - 16:00. No weekends required. Daily visits per day: 9. Patient age groups include infants, pediatrics, and adolescents. Documentation system used is Wellsky/Epic. Provider support includes interpretation services and unit secretarial support. Required skills and experience:

Use of alternative communication devices.
Assessment and evaluation processes.
Knowledge of mental, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Patient and family education.
Familiarity with Medicaid regulations.
Proficiency in SLP evaluation coding.
Awareness of signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. Floating to other units and/or facilities may be required. Vaccination for COVID-19 and flu is required, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons. References are required from within the last 24 months. Minimum of 1 year of acute experience is necessary. Candidates must not have worked for the facility in the past year to be re-considered. All clinicians’ schedules can be adjusted with two weeks' notice. Forms of communication and documentation must comply with facility standards.
