Description:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires floating to a nearby emergency department as needed.
The nurse will work 3 shifts of 12 hours each week.
The nurse is required to work every other weekend.
First-time travelers are accepted for this position.
Candidates must have experience in patient care management.
Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS are mandatory.
TNCC certification is preferred but not required.
This role involves managing various patient conditions, including acute emergencies.
Applicants should have the ability to handle diverse patient populations.
The nurse will be part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Candidate must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills.
The position requires adherence to quality and patient safety standards.
Additional skills in trauma care and behavioral health are advantageous.
The nurse should have experience with electronic charting systems.
Candidates are required to be flexible and ready to adapt to changing situations.
The role includes meeting the needs of both adult and pediatric patients.
Travel experience is necessary for this assignment.
