Description:
Seeking locum OB/GYN to provide on-call coverage.
Coverage dates include multiple periods from August to January.
The role involves hospital ER/GYN and labor & delivery call.
The facility has 10 labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum beds, 3 postpartum beds, and 1 triage.
There are 2 physicians and 5 certified nurse midwives in practice.
Expect 40%-50% gynecological cases with 1-4 gynecological surgeries per day.
C-sections will account for 15%-35% of the cases.
Average number of nursery admissions per day ranges from 2 to 5.
The average daily census for newborns is 3-4, and for pediatrics, it is 0-1 every 2 months.
There are 12 normal newborn beds in the nursery, with no special care nursery available.
The documentation system used is EPIC.
Credentialing typically takes 60-90 days, depending on application submission.
Emergency temporary privileges may be possible for providers with a clean background and an active state license.
Travel reimbursement will cover lodging at approximately $150 per night, with all other bookings approved for standard/economy rates.
