Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse with cath lab experience.
Position requires the administration and monitoring of conscious sedation during procedures.
RNs will circulate in a sterile environment.
Procedures include left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, temporary and permanent pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs, cardioversions, venous ablations, and peripheral vascular angiograms.
Utilizes equipment such as Pyxis, monitoring systems, Epic, ultrasounds, and more.
The unit features 8 fluoroscopy rooms and 2 procedural rooms.
The average patient volume is 30 patients per day.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1.
Orientation will be tailored based on individual experience, focusing on charting and equipment preferences.
RNs will be required to badge in and out for facility entry.
On-call responsibilities include one call per week and one call weekend every 3-4 weeks, with a 30-minute response time.
Must be able to provide effective patient care in an acute care setting.
Candidates must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
