Description:
Operate radiographic equipment to obtain ordered radiographs consistent with department routines and procedures.
Position patients and adjust equipment for proper exposure settings.
Complete the exam in the electronic medical record and verify images in the PACS system.
Perform diagnostic imaging services in the specialty of Computed Tomography.
Responsible for the safe operation of various equipment to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
Interview patients and explain procedures.
Assist in positioning the patient for procedures.
Review test results with radiologists and referring physicians.
Holiday coverage may be required.
