Description: This position involves providing care in a telemetry unit. It is essential to have experience in acute care settings. The patient ratio is typically 1:6 or 1:12 with team nursing. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend or two weekends per month. The role requires proficiency in various clinical skills, including blood product administration and telemetry monitoring. Isolation precautions and effective communication are critical components of the job. Travelers should not expect time off during major holiday periods. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to manage dyshythmias effectively. Completion of necessary certifications before the start date is strictly required. Candidates must be prepared to work with interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy.
