Description:
The position involves working within a behavioral health unit catering to both adults and geriatrics.
The unit has a total of 36 beds, with a mix of adult and geriatric patients.
Patient ratios are maintained at 1:6.
Common diagnoses include Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Substance Use Disorders, and Dementia.
Milieu management utilizing the therapeutic milieu model is preferred.
This role includes floating between adult and geriatric behavioral health units.
Ideal candidates will be required to work every other weekend and have no call requirements.
The preferred dress code is navy blue scrubs, with specific clothing restrictions in place.
