Radiology - Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech

License: Must be ARDMS registered or obtain within one year of hire
Certifications: BLS certified within 60 days of hire, must maintain certification throughout employment
Must-Have:
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent required
- One year hospital experience preferred
- Registered ARRT(R) preferred
- Experience in non-invasive vascular and echocardiography exams preferred
Description:
Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests and ultrasound studies.
Positions patients and calibrates equipment for imaging.
Documents findings accurately.
Performs general ultrasound procedures.
Assists radiologists with ultrasound procedures.
Provides verbal reports to radiologists and other healthcare providers.
Completes other assigned duties as required.

Ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public, both verbally and in writing.
