Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care in the surgical setting. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Collaborates effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nursing staff. Ensures patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery. Maintains a sterile environment and adheres to infection control protocols. Participates in patient education and discharge planning. Demonstrates critical thinking skills and makes informed decisions. Maintains accurate and complete patient records. Commits to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
