Physician - Psychiatry

Shift: 08:00am-05:00pm,

Description:

The applicant must be a Licensed Physician in the client. Provide direct patient care, psychiatric assessments and treatment, face-to-face evaluations, and respond to all emergency calls and restraints. Work with dually diagnosed adult patients, mental health, in a residential section, not outpatient clinic. Abide with agency attendance and leave policy and abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of client and Facility and perform other duties as assigned. Will complete assigned duties in accordance with the duties assigned to permanent Physicians of the Facility.

License, Certification, or Registration required:

Physician - Active Texas Medical License from Texas Medical Board with no sanctions. Active US Dept of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification. Must be credentialed with hospitals utilized by the Facility. American Heart Association ~ approved course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services at the Facility.
