Description: Standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts. Provider must be Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS. EMR: Meditech 6.1. Open ICU with 1 physician and 2 mid-level split coverage. Annual patient volume is approximately 32,000. Daily patient volume ranges from 90 to 100 patients. Physicians typically see 18 to 20 patients during a 12-hour shift. Housing will be provided in hospital-owned apartments. Patient encounters per shift is required. The facility requires board certification for physicians. Estimated credentialing timeframe is 14 days. Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS. Support services with 24-hour availability include Anesthesia and General Surgery. Other services such as Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Catheterization Lab, Neuro-Surgery, and Vascular Surgery are not available 24/7. Radiology is available 24/7. Newborn deliveries are not received in the Emergency Department. There is a Labor and Delivery department available.
