Must-Have: Fellowship, 3 Years

Description: This request is for Cardiothoracic Surgery only. We have a separate service that covers our other patient needs. Currently looking for a provider who is available for coverage. Coverage needed: 7-10 days per month, up to 14 days. Preferred schedule: TBD, but ideal would be bookend weekends with the connecting week in between. Patient encounters per shift are variable. The facility is a Level 2 trauma center.

Specialty Skills Required: Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery Cardiac/Thoracic Skills General CV/thoracic surgery: Required Open: Required Endoscopic: Required Coronary artery bypass surgery: Required On pump: Required Off pump: Required Congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc.): Required Valvular repair: Required Valvular replacement: Required Aneurysm repair: Required Cardiac: Required Aorto-thoracic: Required Lung resection (including VATs): Required Chest wall or pleural procedures: Required Esophagus and diaphragm surgeries: Required AICD (Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator): Required Left ventricular assist devices: Required TAVR: Required CABG: Required Vent Management: Required Bronchoscopy: Required Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues: Required Insertion of Central line: Required Insertion of Arterial line: Required Insertion of PA catheter: Required Insertion of IABP: Required

Vascular Skills Not Required: General Vascular surgery Aneurysm repair - aorto-abdominal Bypass procedures - aorto-femoral/iliac Fem-pop Endarterectomy Carotid Renal Subclavian steal procedure TAVR CABG Vent Management Bronchoscopy Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Insertion of Central line Insertion of Arterial line Insertion of PA catheter Insertion of IABP
