Description: The RN partners with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. The position involves working with residents who have Alzheimer's and dementia, tailoring care to meet their needs. Key aspects of this role include using verbal and non-verbal communication techniques and understanding difficult behaviors associated with cognitive impairments. The RN provides needed care to residents in a home-like environment. The role also includes providing short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to patients recovering from various illnesses or injuries. Nursing services may include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management. The RN will provide long-term care to residents needing assistance in a supportive environment. Candidates must possess medical terminology knowledge and flexibility to cover shifts as needed.
