Experience: Minimum 1 year Med/Surg required, 2 years preferred

License: Valid RN license required (pending license acceptable with ETA)

Certifications: BLS (AHA) certification required (pending acceptable)

Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other Med/Surg units

Description:

Local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Travelers within 50 miles are eligible for local rates.

Shift options available for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Availability required for the first two weeks of the assignment.

Staff may float to other Medical Surgical units as needed.

Work every other weekend is expected.

Must be able to collaborate with various staff members, including RNs, LPNs, and technicians.

1:5-6 staffing ratio for nights, with the possibility of 8 patients paired with an LPN for support.

Caring for a diverse patient population with various medical diagnoses.

Specialties include gastrointestinal, urological, and gynecological surgeries.

Potential floating to different Med/Surg units based on needs.

Experience in a team-oriented environment is beneficial.

Proof of flu vaccination is required, with exemptions to be submitted promptly.

References from supervisor-level individuals are required.

All lab work should be scheduled within 48-72 hours of signing.

Simplified reporting of modules is necessary for compliance.
