Description: The Neuro Tele Registered Nurse will provide care to patients with neurological and telemetry needs. Floating between units may be required. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Expected patient ratios are 1:4 during shifts. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 379 staffed beds. The unit consists of 29 beds. Nurses will work closely with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Patients may present with a variety of diagnoses including TIA, stroke, and neurosurgical conditions. The unit specializes in comprehensive monitoring for epilepsy and various neurosurgical procedures. Candidates must possess strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The electronic health record used is EPIC. All candidates must be willing to comply with hospital protocols and safety guidelines. This position offers the opportunity to serve a diverse patient population and work collaboratively within a dynamic care team.
