Description:
We are seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse.
This role requires a focus on providing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills.
Experience with patient ratios of 4:1 is preferred.
Candidates will be expected to manage various patient conditions and perform necessary interventions.
They should have experience in arterial line management and interpretation of arterial blood gases.
Additional responsibilities include managing blood product administration and care of ventilated patients.
Candidates will need to float within their scope of practice as needed.
Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS are essential.
Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
This position involves working with diverse patient age groups and various diagnoses.
The facility is recognized as a primary stroke center.
Nurse patient ratios may flex based on census.
Support staff, including ER technicians, will assist in various tasks.
