Description: Seeking OB/GYN physicians for long-term locum tenens assignments. The physicians will support a growing women's health program across multiple care settings. Responsibilities include outpatient clinic, hospital operating room, and ambulatory surgery center coverage. Limited backup hospital call coverage is included. Candidates must be able to work across multiple areas, covering at least two of the mentioned settings. The physicians will work alongside other OB/GYN specialists, APPs, and certified nurse midwives. This role includes providing patient care, clinical consultation, and mentoring newer providers. A full-time schedule is ideal, with a minimum commitment accepted of two weeks on and two weeks off. Candidates must be flexible and able to transition between clinic and procedural responsibilities. Urgent hospital coverage may be required when on backup call. Recent clinic and surgical experience is vital, along with the ability to practice independently. Candidates should be willing to work collaboratively with APPs and midwives. All employment gaps must be explained, and any malpractice claims or settlements disclosed. The role includes patient encounters at a specified rate. BLS certification is required, while other certifications such as ABLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS are not required. The facility does not have a pediatric department. Candidates must possess essential obstetrics and gynecology skills. Required skills include managing low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, performing OB ultrasounds, and various delivery methods. Familiarity with gynecological procedures and surgical interventions is also necessary.
