Physician - Hematology Oncology

Description: The provider will be traveling to multiple locations. Coverage will occur on Wednesdays. Coverage will take place twice a month every other Thursday (1st and 3rd Thursday). The provider will work regular hours four days a week, with Mondays off. Shift hours are 8am to 5pm, including one hour unpaid lunch. Night call will be required on some days, with schedule to be determined. Weekend call schedule will be to be determined. Call rotation will include serving as primary and backup to the Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). When on call, the physician must only be available by telephone. The APP will let the provider know if they need to come into the hospital. Telemedicine services are not needed. The facility is looking for a full-time locum provider who can provide four weeks of coverage in a month. The provider will assist in the call rotation while working four days per week. Candidates who can only work one or two weeks per month will not be considered. Order entry is expected to be completed by the locum provider. Trauma level is III. EMR system used is EPIC. Reason for coverage is due to staff leaving. No interview is required. Multiple providers will not be accepted.
