Description: CHI Client Williston Medical Center is seeking an OB/GYN locum physician. The position involves providing 24-hour call coverage. The physician will be responsible for vaginal deliveries, C-sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, bladder repairs, and D&C procedures. The average number of deliveries is 50-60 per month. The physician will be on call 24 hours a day. The duties include rounding on patients, being present for deliveries, and attending to urgent cases in the emergency room. Daily admissions may range from 1 to 3 patients. The physician will supervise mid-level providers, nurses, and other support staff. Participation in hospital credentialing and peer review activities is required. The physician must maintain appropriate patient records in a timely manner. Participation in continuing medical education programs is encouraged. The physician will assist with community health and wellness education initiatives. Participation in marketing and community service activities is expected. The physician should have experience with specific medical software and applications.
