Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Clean Background/Malpractice

Description: The Emergency Department is in need of locum coverage. We are seeking two full-time locum physicians to start as soon as credentialed. Candidates must be flexible to work varied shifts based on facility needs. Ongoing need exists through the following year. Provider will deliver high-quality emergency medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients. Responsibilities include collaborating with attending physicians to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions. Effective communication and patient handoffs with consultants and care teams are essential. Participation in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes is expected. Ideal providers would be available for two weeks of coverage per month, totaling 15 shifts per month. Providers should be willing to work full-time, including some holidays. Candidates must meet all credentialing requirements and possess a clean malpractice history. Emergency Medicine Fellowship is required, along with requisite certifications. The role involves managing a daily patient volume of 8-14 cases, mainly medical with low trauma, medium to high acuity.
