Description: Baptist Health Rehabilitation Client is a state-of-the-art, 62-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and return to their lives following an injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from various conditions. Baptist Health Rehabilitation Client strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Our Neurological Rehabilitation program is designed for patients who have experienced an injury to the brain, spinal cord, or nerves. Individuals who have experienced a neurological injury or disease sometimes have difficulty with movement, speaking, swallowing, breathing, or learning. We offer comprehensive rehabilitation for patients who have experienced spinal cord injuries, both traumatic and non-traumatic, benefiting from a specialized and coordinated process. Our therapists are skilled and trained to recognize the unique needs of individuals who have experienced a brain injury, providing consistent rehabilitation for physical dysfunction, cognitive impairments, and behavioral issues. Our multidisciplinary team offers specialty care to help individuals regain function from the physical and psychological effects following a stroke. We also provide care for patients who have experienced an amputation, focusing on restoring strength and confidence, regaining function and mobility, and supporting independent living. Our orthopedic program prepares patients recovering from fractures, dislocations, or joint replacements, with objectives tailored to individual needs, including gait training and muscle strengthening. The unit features patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1. We utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts and lite gait devices. We are looking for collaborative, self-starters with problem-solving skills to join our team. Preferred experience includes inpatient rehabilitation with a focus on neurological conditions.
