The position involves managing patient encounters in a fast-paced environment.
The expected patient encounters per shift is 15.
The department is designed to accommodate 10 beds.
The facility does not handle newborn deliveries in the emergency department.
There is no labor and delivery department available.
Support services such as anesthesia, cardio-thoracic surgery, and others are not available 24 hours a day.
This role will require adherence to emergency medicine standards and practices.
All necessary certifications must be maintained throughout employment.
