Float required within scope of practice.
Description:
There is potential to work some weekends.
Techs may need to perform phlebotomy.
Resource must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered; locals not accepted.
No edits accepted once an offer has been made.
No timecard edits accepted after the pay period closes.
Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hours of an offer.
COVID-19 vaccine is required; medical/religious exemptions only.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Charting system experience is required.
Experience in specimen collection, receipt, transport, and reporting test results is essential.
Knowledge of quality assurance and controls is important.
Position requires venipuncture and phlebotomy expertise.
References must be provided from a charge nurse or higher and a supervisor.
Background policy requires upfront submission of any license hits or background check issues.
After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break from the system before being eligible to return.
