Description: Duties include providing therapy services to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting. The position involves evaluating and treating patients with various diagnoses, including strokes, hip fractures, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and more. Collaborating with a team to deliver patient-centered care is essential. The physical therapist will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with patients and the healthcare team. The patient-to-staff ratio is approximately 6:1, ensuring individual attention for each patient. The work environment involves the use of electronic health records systems for documentation. A team-oriented attitude and a commitment to patient care are highly valued. Candidates should be adaptable and willing to float to evaluate and treat patients in different care areas as needed. Dress code requires royal blue scrubs, and no jeans or unacceptable attire is allowed.
