Description: This shift is 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., following a 7 on 7 off rotation. The first 7-day rotation will be determined. Must be available to work on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day for this rotation. The average daily census is 15 patients, covering a population from neonates to geriatrics. Scrub colors are any, as they are not provided. No pre-approved time off is allowed. Experience with special procedures and various equipment is needed. Required skills include experience with GE PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in 3D rendering techniques, including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering. Experience with various CT procedures, such as abdomen and chest studies with and without contrast, is essential. Knowledge of preparation and administration of contrast media and radiation safety is important. Candidates should have skills in starting peripheral IVs and managing musculoskeletal trauma cases. Experience is required in adult acute care and outpatient settings. The role demands adaptability in working with a diverse patient age group, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Ideal candidates will have no previous travel experience required.
