Description:
Unit notes include that no clinical involvement is required.
Experience in medication administration, wound care, Foley care, and ostomy care is necessary.
Candidates will supervise CNAs and TMAs.
The facility accommodates 38 residents with private rooms.
The electronic medical record system in use is Point Click Care.
Day/Evening shift ratios are 1 nurse to 2-3 CNAs for 20 residents.
NOC shift ratios consist of 1 nurse to 2-3 CNAs for 40 residents.
Common diagnoses include COPD, dementia, Parkinson's, MS, and CHF.
The medication dispensing system utilized is blister pack cards.
A pharmacy is available on-site.
Block scheduling is available based on departmental needs.
Weekend and holiday requirements involve working every other weekend and holiday.
There is no call or standby requirement, and no floating is expected.
Scrub colors and dress code will be provided.
Candidates are required to submit RTO upfront, with no additional requests for time off approved post-submission.
The facility allows for the cancellation of shifts according to the stated policy.
