Experience:
- 24 months of RRT/Respiratory experience in a hospital setting
- NICU experience within the last 18 months
- Level III NICU experience within the last 15 months
- 36 months of current RRT/Respiratory Therapy experience
License:
- Iowa Respiratory license highly preferred; licensing candidates accepted
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation)
- NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care)
Must-Have:
- EPIC electronic medical record experience
- Equipment experience with jet ventilators, Drager vents, and oscillator vents
- Ability to float across different units throughout the facility
- All certifications must be active
Description:
This position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Respiratory Care.
The therapist will be required to work varied shifts, including weekends.
The role involves caring for all ages, with a primary focus on adult patients and NICU.
Candidates must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months.
No first-time travelers will be considered.
Scrubs of any solid color are acceptable.
This position requires participation in holiday shifts unless the unit is closed.
The clinician will engage with various specialized equipment and techniques.
Candidates should provide a comprehensive work history and skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapy.
Professional references from supervisors or charge nurses are preferred and should be within the last 24 months.
Responsibilities may include charge or preceptor duties.
Candidates must have strong clinical skills and a commitment to quality patient care.
