Experience:
Minimum of 30 months of interventional vascular/Interventional Radiology lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting is required.
Cardiac Cath Lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting is highly preferred.
Pre and post-operative/recovery experience is required.
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is required.
First-time travelers are welcomed.
License:
State license in Iowa is required.
Certifications:
BLS certification from the American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross is required.
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Must-Have:
Work history/resume/employment history must demonstrate 24 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience.
Skills checklist must be specific to the discipline of interventional vascular/IR lab.
Professional reference from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation or reference from within the last 24 months is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required.
Description:
This position involves interviewing viable candidates for the role.
The workload includes prep and post-care for vascular and interventional radiology patients.
Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:3, with a total of 9 beds available.
The contractor is required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
There is a requirement for pre-screening clinical interviews to be conducted.
All applicants must meet the specified requirements and be available for the designated shifts.
