IV Start Telemetry experience Emergency Room setting experience

Description: The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Locals are accepted with a rate difference. Required skills include IV start and telemetry experience. Certifications needed are BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Preferred skills include NIHSS, TNCC, conscious sedation, and triage. Target patient ratios are 1:4-6. Weekend shifts will be required every third weekend. The patient population served ranges from neonates to centenarians. The unit has 12 rooms/beds. Documentation is conducted using an older version of a specific software. Communication follows an SBAR format with bedside handoffs. An EKG test is required and must be passed prior to start for this specialty. Additional skills may include management of dysrhythmias and care of ventilated patients. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed. Travel pairs are allowed if they are on different units.
