Must-Have:
- Cardiac telemetry
- PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips
- Wound care and management
- Central line and PICC line management
- Management of ventilated patients
- High Flow Nasal Cannula and non-invasive airway management
Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may possibly turn into a cancellation.
DNR is required.
Travelers should have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Locals are accepted with a rate difference.
Target nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.
The unit requires nurses to float to the ED IVC Sitter.
Weekend coverage is every other weekend.
Daily census in the unit is 4 patients.
Interdisciplinary support is provided by various specialists.
The unit will manage patients with A-Fib RVR, hyperglycemia, and hypertension requiring drips.
There will be 24 hours of orientation in the first week, with classes each day.
Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as per job description.
All required modules must be completed before starting.
