Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Description: This position is for a Certified Scrub Tech in the Operating Room. The shift is during the day from 06:30 to 15:00. The role requires at least 2 years of OR scrub experience. Call requirements include 1-2 weekends per month and 1-2 weekdays per week. The facility has 5 operating rooms with a patient ratio of one at a time. Common equipment includes Bovie, laparoscopic towers, Hana table, Urology table, Laser litho, Harmonic scalpel, and stirrups. The electronic health record system used is Meditech Magic. The patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics, with some pediatric cases such as tonsillectomies and dental restorations. Candidates should possess skills in vascular cases, although it is not mandatory. A team-oriented personality is essential to collaborate effectively with other staff members. Personal scrubs are not permitted, and specific dress code adherence is required. No nail polish is allowed while on duty.
