Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.

Description: Standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts. Open ICU with one physician and two mid-level split coverage. Annual patient volume is approximately 32,000. Daily patient volume ranges from 90 to 100 patients. Physicians typically see 18 to 20 patients in a 12-hour shift. Housing provided in hospital-owned apartments. No travel costs will be included. Facility has 22 beds in the department. Physician-billeted supports include 24-hour availability of Anesthesia, General Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgery. Radiology is also available 24/7. The facility does have a Labor and Delivery department. Newborn deliveries are not received in the Emergency Department.
