Description: This position involves general orthopedic surgery with a 24-hour call requirement. The provider will be responsible for managing 0-3 consults per day. The provider may also need to visit the emergency department for closed reductions and admissions. There may be 0-2 surgeries per day, which will include wrist, ankle, and hip fractures, as well as incision and drainage. Long bone trauma will be stabilized and transferred. Gratis hours are capped at 4. Surgeons will be provided with individual apartments onsite. Accommodations include cable and Wi-Fi. Travel expenses will be capped. Providers must remain within a specified distance from the facility while on call. The facility does not accommodate providers who offer less than 4 gratis hours. The following certifications are required:

ABLS
ACLS
ATLS
BLS
PALS Specialty skills in orthopaedic surgery are required, including but not limited to:
Arthroscopy
Total joint replacement
Joint revision or repair
Hand surgeries
Peripheral nerve surgery
Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine procedures
